How do you flood a city? Here's your answer :D
You use Photoshop of course :giggle:
:pointr: Original deviation: Flooded

This is an advanced Photoshop tutorial, if you have problems with the stuff in it, I suggest going through my other tutorials - especially the Layer Masks Explained tutorial should come in handy.

I hope you'll find this useful - especially those who asked for it.

I'm looking forward to your feedback - as always, feedback makes me keep writing tuts

If you use this tut, note me and I'll add you to my Flood It Collection!

Did this here:
'Flood it' Tutorial follow

I was thinking about making my own version of this tutorial because I did my steps a few different ways (I have never made a tutorial before).

This was an extremely useful tutorial so thanks for taking your time to make it.

Would you be at all offended if I made my own based off some of the same things I learned in this? I would link back and list you as inspiration in the introduction for sure :))

you have to know for yourself if what you are about to do is more a copy than anything else. Unless you copy my text and steps exactly, I can hardly do anything about a tutorial you create from scratch, even if the idea is the same. If you personally are spending your time well by redoing something that is already here is up to you and surely depends on the extend of the changes you have done to the process (and how well you will explain them).

It should, I suppose. I mean, how superior can Photoshop be? Now, let's hope this works. . .

 you may have to adapt some steps, but you should still learn something :aww:

Nope, doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

I'm not at all familiar with Gimp, so no clue, sorry.
