The reason I was MIA for a little while was cos I had to go on a trip for work - a trip to Rio de Janeiro, the marvelous city

12 hours flight one way (plus delays on both airports) at first sounded like a lot of hassle to get somewhere for three days, one of which I would be spending working. Don't get me wrong, long flights do suck, but Rio was worth it. Before we had to get back to the airport on Friday, my collegue and I got the chance to visit the Corcovado with the Christ Redemer statue and the most astonishing view I've ever seen. So here's a stock series from the top of the mountain, shot with my old point-and-shoot instead of the DSLR which I left at home.
