I understand completely! I do have one question for you

I used your twirls for the header in my journal (well, this club journal) ...what's your policy on that type of use since it's not really a dev with a description area where I can list credits per se.... you've got me feeling guilty! (That is about the only thing I've used that I haven't been able to post a credit!)

Sounds fine to me!
Lately I have been playing with tutorials and stock photos lately. But I always put in the credits where I got stock images from and I do the best I can with brushes. That can get tricky if the site is closed or sometimes I forget where and who I get brushes. I don't have the great time sorting brushes.
All and all...I do my best to give props to those persons.

Don't worry, I'm not that anal

I just want to see where my things get used because that is the rewarding part of this account... And I want to have the opportunity to step on someone's toes if they create the impression it was their work. So, if someone says "great layout, I love the swirls", it would be nice to point them my way.

I had thought this was common sense, that I didn't have to set rules for that, but during gallery clean ups, I've come across my stock once too often where it was just "thank you" instead of "thanks, I used brushes for those" (that would've been all that was needed to pacify me, but alas

)

even if you don't remember who it was from, saying at least "I used brushes for this" would pacify me - I'm just so sick of people creating the impression they did it all on their own...

LOL - I know what you mean about not being credited. When I look at my resource account I see how many downloads and faves there are and how few people who actually tell me they used them. Every once in awhile I get that completely unappreciated feeling and consider closing the account. I agree, when you make things for free the reward IS getting to see what people make with your resources and it is a huge let down when people take advantage of your generosity.

And of course if someone compliments your brushes I would send them your way
