I'm sitting here, sipping coffee, being glad I found a job and thoroughly enjoying the new user pages
Finally, everything's neat and tidy and customizable! I think I've been customizing my main account and this one all morning
Anyway, I start at my new job on March 1st and appart from some preparations (like getting a room in Frankfurt am Main so I can stay there during the week and return to my bf on weekends), I'm free until then! And not free as in "not working but job hunting" but really free
Hence the new poll (well, and the fact that I couldn't put the old one on my front page ) and me trying to figure out what to prepare next. Besides getting my blog back on track that is
Oh and did I mention this is gonna be the best Christmas ever? No stress, no fretting (last year I was studying for finals and I was tense as hell during the holidays - what a f***ing waste) - just eating till I drop LOL not to forget drinking till I drop
I've got one current CSS commission that I hope to finish before Christmas and after that I think I'll stop taking them. With my real job just around the corner I don't really need the money any more I guess I'll be doing more free layouts then if time and inspiration permit. Dunno yet.

Read Me?
Here's a notice to all those who need everything spelled out but then on the other hand can't be bothered to read (and I know writing it here is kinda pointless, but it makes me feel better, so it stays):
If you want to use my free templates or my stock then READ my full rules as well as in the case of templates the Read_Me file that comes with it, before you start writing comments/notes asking me stuff that is already there. Read my tutorials, too, they're here so I don't have to repeat myself.
And if you still have a question after all of this, feel free to note me or better yet, comment (maybe someone else will find it helpful, too?), but for the love of god, try talking like a normal person. If you can't be bothered to, then I can't be bothered answering in a respectful fashion either.
Always credit =kuschelirmel-stock when you use my stock/brushes/textures etc. (please don't credit my art account as it leads to confusion over what is stock and what is not)
Please show me what you've done by giving me a link via note or comment.
Please manipulate the stock! This is very important if you want to use my resources commercially: you can't just change colours and sell it as your own
You also cannot redistribute the pictures as stock (manipulated or otherwise) without my expressed permission
For use on and off dA, commercial or non-commercial - it doesn't matter as long as you abide by the rules above
For Journal CSS templates there are some special rules, you can read them here
Exclusives @ Contests
If you look into my Exclusives Collection, you'll find quite a few exclusive stock packs and textures. These are meant to be used as prizes in contests and challenges.
List of contests:

CSS Commissions
I am currently taking commissions for gallery and journal CSS designs - if you wish to commission me to do one for you, you can find more information here. Don't hesitate to contact me via note (here or at my main account) or e-mail (kuschelirmel<at>googlemail.com) so I can answer any questions you might have.
The CSS is NOT for public use! Journal designed and coded by =kuschelirmel-stock
did you know that when you look this yournal page in a 1600 x 1200 px screen, there is around 100 px dead space at the right of the journaltop and bottom. now just a question (I'm in the makings of a css based on your tutorials) if I were to make the journaltop/bottom pic say around 100 pix wider would that cause me any troubles when viewing it in a smaller screen and if I were to allign the title right, would it cut it off in a smaller screen?
yes, I know. it's there because I make my journals cut off after 850px --> .journalbox {max-width:850px;} that way I don't have to worry about my images not being wide enough for big monitors
Images cut off on smaller screens and leave a blank space on wider once, so you have to find a balance somewhere. for a 1024x768 monitor resolution, you need to stay within about 460px with all important stuff (either left, center or right depending on where you anchor your image) -- those 460px are for viewing on the front page, on the journal page you have about 550px or something like that. I cut my headers to 850px width cos I'm on a 1280x1024px monitor - the images will show completely on the journal page, but be cut on the front page (to about 550px I think).
the text will not be cut off no matter where you align it, just the background pic will.
I'll probably be making more tutorials soon, but I hope this could get you started.
thanks. But I think I'm gonna make it wide enough for the wider screen anyway but just leave most of the decorations and stuff to the right side so I wouldn't lose things I definitely want to be seen.
Congratulations on your new job! That is really exciting news for you... and to see your bf more often too. Best of luck and have a wonderful christmas! !!
To look at only
